Every New Yorker needs to attend a Staten Island Yankees Game
Going to the Staten Island Yankees game was a great experience not to be missed. Upon walking into the ballpark at St. George you are immediately struck by the amazing vista of the pristine field. And overlooking the New York skyline and the harbor with ferries cruising by well it’s hard to articulate the visceral response WE all experienced. In a word… it was awesome. There are no bad seats there and the intimacy and experience of being at a Staten Island Yankess game where you hear the thud of the ball in the catcher’s mitt on every pitch and the crack of the bat as it is hit made it a great experience for young and old.
You just don’t get the same feel at the major league games no matter how good your seats are. Attending a Staten Island Yankees game was a great experience not to be missed and I suggest it for any baseball fan or family.

Going to the Staten Island Yankees game was amazing I can’t wait to go back. Being at this special venue made me think of the lyrics from the Sinatra song
“There Used to be a Ballpark”
And there used to be a ballpark where the field was warm and green
And the people played their crazy game with a joy I’d never seen
And the air was such a wonder from the hot dogs and the beer
