Let me preface this post with this disclaimer: NONE of us will ever be Gisele Bündchen i.e.; The height, the legs, the body– that is clearly DIVINE INTERVENTION. So once you take the whole physical part out of the equation- and look at the ultimate mom on the go photo she posted to Instagram what you have is a woman who is just trying to figure out a way to have it all and still LOOK like a supermodel.
Tuesday, Bündchen, 33, attended to by her “beauty squad” while she nursed her one-year-old daughter Vivian posted the photo on Instagram and wrote “What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep #multitasking #gettingready,”And while I would LIKE to find something to GRIPE about (because her divinely given beauty is so easy to covet– Oh Gisele, you make it look so easy) I need to give her props for making her daughter a priority. While I did not have the ability to breastfeed past two months- those mothers who continue to breastfeed well beyond are in my opinion pure vessels of unconditional love. We need to support these women and these kinds of images- because in doing so we are taking the taboo out of PUBLIC BREASTFEEDING!
Oh and of course if it were up to me here are THREE REASONS every single breastfeeding mama should have a glam squad while breastfeeding:
#1 While you can't do anything about your breasts reaching your knees after all the breastfeeding- (short of getting a boob job) at least a glam squad can make sure your hair and makeup is flawless ( your baby will definitely appreciate your getting primped and polished just for them).
#2 I don't know about you but when you have a baby- your hands can sure take a beating- and your nails- FUGGETABOUTIT! Who has time for a manicure? But with a glam squad you can breastfeed that baby and keep that French manicure chip free.
#3 When your significant other comes through the door after eight hours of not seeing one another-while you might have a baby latched onto your boob- that Glam Squad's work on you will ensure your S.O. is waiting with baited breath to give you some loving as soon as you get a respite from your breastfeeding duties!
