You don’t HAVE to peel the apples–it is your preference. I’ve made it with apples with and without peel, it’s delicious both ways!
did anyone find the batter to be thick? since there’s no liquid but the eggs? I have it in the oven and will see how it comes out. Recipe calls for 6 medium apples, I used four Granny Smith but had to make two batters because it was so thick didn’t cover all
