CONGRATS to our winners Pam and Chana!!
Before you think that I am the type of mom who thinks all problems can be solved with a bit of retail therapy….you’d be partly right.
When it comes to my seven-year-old, who has never been a fan of wearing shoes- and would prefer to scamper about; in the street, on the sidewalk in the grocery store in his bare or socked feet…I have always had a bit of a dilemma finding a way to get him excited about footwear and how marvelous it can actually be…
Luckily or unluckily for me my daughter probably likes shoes a bit too much- hence the sparkly Dorothy from Kansas Wizard of Oz Mary James, the patent leather Mary Janes the sneakers, sandals, fuzzy slippers…you name it she’s got it.
But back to my little man Jackson… Well parents I have found the PERFECT sneaker thanks to New Balance —The New Balance Minimus 20 Trail (KT20) which creates a near-barefoot experience on the trail just for kids.that since getting it- hand to G-d Jackson – refuses to take off- they are so cute and comfy and dare I say VERY stylish!
Here are ALL the details….
- Lightweight, mesh-based upper with synthetic reinforcement provides increased breathability and speed
- Non-marking rubber outsole won’t mark floors
- NB Minimus is a whole new approach to footwear, a place on the spectrum from barefoot running to the traditional maximum-cushioning running shoe. Inspired by Good Form Running and designed to be worn with or without socks. With only a 4mm drop from heel to toe, as little as a third of that of a traditional running shoe, the NB Minimus collection holds a world of discovery for neutral runners; additionally, Good Form Running teaches methods of improvement for those seeking to conquer gait issues.
