For me the best part of New York Fashion Week is the opportunity to chat with the designers and makeup artists and get a behind the scenes look at their process. And attending the CZAR by Cesar Galindo’s show which featured Mary Kay Celebrity Makeup Artist Ashunta Sheriff’s FIRE AND SMOKE look, DID NOT DISAPPOINT!
But the real question is: How Can YOU Get The Mary Kay Official Beauty “Fire and Smoke” Look of the CZAR by Cesar Galindo Show at New York Fashion Week which represents power and strength of the modern day woman who balances and juggles daily life responsibilities with a “firey” passion?

Mary Kay Celebrity Makeup Artist Ashunta Sheriff breaks down this runway look for easy at-home application tips for the everyday woman.

FACE
Apply a quarter size amount of Mary Kay ® CC Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15, using a damp cosmetic sponge, starting from inside the face, working outward. Next, using a concealer brush, apply Mary Kay ® TimeWise ® Matte-Wear ® Liquid Foundation where coverage is needed starting from inside of the face and moving outward. Apply Mary Kay ® Concealer in a triangle shape under eyes and cheekbones to create a lifted and highlighted effect. Using a powder brush, sweep Mary Kay ® Sheer Mineral Pressed Powder to the T zone. For a sculpted look, apply Mary Kay ® Mineral Powder Foundation to temples and cheeks.

CHEEKS
Using a blush brush, contour cheeks by applying Mary Kay ® Bronzing Powder onto cheek bones and temples. Apply Mary Kay ® Mineral Cheek Color in Sparkling Cider to the apples of the cheeks, blending slightly back behind the hairline. Lightly apply bronzing powder to the bridge of the nose for an instant slimming effect.

EYES
Line the upper and lower lash line with Mary Kay ® Eyeliner in Dark Brown, blending into the inner corners of the eye to create a smoky effect. Smudge Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in Cinnabar onto lids and blund up creases, then use to line the lower lashlines. Apply mineral eye color in Gold Coast to the inner corner of the eye in a “V” with an angled brush, to intensify the look. Finish by brushing upper and lower lashes with Mary Kay ® Lash Love ® Lengtheningâ„¢ Mascara in I ♡ Black.

LIPS
Line and fill lips with Mary Kay ® Lip Liner in Spiced Tea, then apply Mary Kay ® True Dimensionsâ„¢ Lipstick in Sienne Brulee, for a muted bold lip.
Complete the look by spraying Mary Kay ® Makeup Finishing Spray by Skindinavia in an “X” and “T” to set makeup for hours.
