Just in time for back to school, MetLife offers college savings tips & a chance to win $10,000 and FIVE Snoopy plush dolls are up for grabs and cuddles!

As a parent raising kids is expensive ( and apparently the expense is expected to multiply tenfold as they near that college age… can you see the sweat profusely dripping from my brow as I try and calculate how I will attempt to put two kids through college without having to resort to hooking on the street corner?!) and so I am always on the prowl for ways to explain to my kids in terms they can comprehend the basics of finance, so that they can better understand and appreciate the money I spend on them and even the money they get as an allowance.

And to give parents a head start, MetLife has unveiled its Snoopy Snapshot Challenge, featuring the chance to win $10,000 to put toward a child’s education.

The Snoopy Snapshot Challenge, offers families the chance to win $10,000 by having fun with the Peanuts Gang. Put your child’s face on your favorite character and you can enter for the chance to win $10,000 for your child’s education. Parents can enter by visiting MetLife’s Facebook page and “liking” it. Click on the Contest tab and you’ll be able to upload your child’s headshot onto the Peanuts character of your choice. Once your photo is ready, complete and submit the online Official Entry Form. Share the newest member of the Peanuts Gang with your friends and family and invite them to vote for your photo.

Photos will be divided into four age categories:

· Baby: Children 3 years of age and under
· Little Kid: Children ages 4 through 7
· Big Kid: Children ages 8 through 12
· Teen: Children ages 13 through 17
