I have a love hate relationship with being blonde, insofar as I was born a blonde, my eyebrows to this day are PLATINUM and a source of consternation for me as I have to *color them in everyday and each night I pray to the eyebrow Gds that I will wake up and the hair which is supposed to frame my face will have miraculously darkened* and yet all that being said- MY ROOTs are a dishwater non descript light, sandy brown. Ask my husband what color my hair is and he will say ” FINE”–I don’t know about you but the last time I checked FINE was not a part of the hair color spectrum.

And while I have experimented with many hair colors– black, red and chocolate brown- the only one that feels most me is blonde. And so I sit for hours on end covered with tin foil every few months to recreate that once golden halo gd gave me. ·                 Next, Luke used a curling iron with a 1 ¼ inch barrel to put slight bends in her hair to keep it looking natural.

 

Step 3 – Perfect

Hair stylist Giannandrea chose to give Dakota Fanning a sleek and sophisticated style to complement her sheer black dress.

·                 After sectioning off the hair, Giannandrea wrapped each section around a 1 ½ inch curling iron and then carefully brushed out. Giannandrea then twisted and braided the top section of Elle’s hair and secured with pins at the crown for a half-up half-down style.

 

Step 3 – Perfect

 

·                 To finish off the look, Giannandrea sprayed John Frieda Frizz-Ease Moisture Barrier Firm Hold Hairspray ($5.99 at drugstores) , making sure to ruffle the styled crown with his fingers so that a few strands would come loose for a casual and angelic finish.

    I have always been blonde except for a few years ago when I tried dying my hair a chestnut brown. It looked AWFUL on me and I couldn’t go more than a month before getting it back to my original color. I will always be blonde it just fits me! 🙂

    Some of us blondes start out very blonde and it just comes in darker as the years go by. I’m one of the dirty blondes that bleaches out quite naturally with summer swimming. I find the Frieda products enhance summer blondes and would love to try these new ones. And my daughter would enjoy giving them a try also
    The nice thing is our complexion – we can carry off a wide range of hair color which comes in handy as we explore the options when our blonde has darkened
