Living in New York City you Need to Arm Yourself with P&G Products To Stay #NYTough

September 29, 2014 by Melissa Chapman Leave a Comment

Living in NYC, requires a certain level of mental toughness. Like for instance, when you are riding the subway you learn how to be morph into a BRITISH PALACE GUARD and keep still as can be so that homeless guy who is about to talk to you keeps on moving. Or  after embarking from said subway, and smelling like the guy who was crammed up next to you in that packed subway car- and feeling like you want to JUMP INT HE SHOWER BUT YOU CAN’T or you’ll be late for work so you pull out your trusty bottle of febreze and just SPRAY yourself silly. THAT IS being NY Tough. Which is why I love P&G brands (Bounty, Crest,  Dawn,  Febreze, Tide, Secret and  Head & Shoulders) #NYTough campaign–  a humorous celebration of the little challenges faced by New Yorkers, like smelling great even when your Tinder date decides that their 5th floor walkup would be the perfect spot for a second date. here are just A FEW challenges ANY new York can relate to:

Garlicky pizza breath is tough. @Crest is tougher. #NYTough

Last Night's Cheesy alice on dishes is TOUGH, Dawn is Tougher! #NyTough

Strutting through SoHo with dandruff is tough. @HSforMen is tougher. #NYTough

Finger painting playdates in East Village apartments are tough. @Bounty is tougher. #NYTough

And no one had a better take on just how  P&G can help us New Yorkers get through city life than Marlon Wayans!

Marlon Wayans MC’ed a private comedy showcase at Caroline’s on Broadway starring The Daily’s Show’s newest correspondent and New York native Michael Che,  Sherri Shepard, and Michelle Buteau where we were treated to these Laugh out loud comedians favorite memories of life in NYC and how P&G products helped through a sticky situation.!!

But first I took the stage!

Michelle Buteau, who noted that at times riding the NYC subway is like an episode STRAIGHT out of Orange is the New black  http://instagram.com/p/tTx9_dg3pD/ So whether you live in NYC, or you just need products that will help you STAY tough- check out these goodies- that will help you STAND TALL AND TOUGH! This post is part of a sponsored conversation by me on behalf of  P&G brands but as is always the case all opinions expressed are my own.
