I don’t know if you have seen the popular Mama’s Feta Tomato Pasta Bake trend, but a fellow Weight Watchers member Denise Meehan just had to try and adapt this recipe to Weight Watchers and what a Total, DELICIOUS success!
And this is what is so great about the Weight Watchers lifestyle. You really can eat any dish you want- even pasta!
Imagine Mama’s Feta Tomato Pasta Bake recipe is -Just 4 points on Blue for 1/6 of a 9×13 pan!
Some notes: You could also decrease the olive oil and it would still be delicious. But Denise says you should still use some, rather than spray, because it lends to the final sauce. She topped hers with fat free mozzarella, and her daughter use reduced fat parmesan. She tried to stick pretty true to the original recipe components, and says she will modify next time. You could easily add chicken or shrimp to bulk it up and it would be excellent for no added points.
But bottom line- According to Denise she is 100% making this again!

Ingredients:
8 oz. President Cheese, Feta, Fat Free 3 points on Weight Watchers Blue
2 1/2 Tbsp Kirkland Signature Oragnic extra virgin olive oil 11 points on WEight Watchers Blue
3 cups Grape Tomatoes 0 points on Weight Watchers Blue
8 large cloves Garlic Clove(s), large chop 0 points on Weight Watcehsr Blue
3/4 cup (s) Basil, chopped 0 points on Weight Watchers Blue
8 oz (Uncooked) Fiber Gourmet, Light Rotini 10 points on Weight Watchers Blue
5 sprays cooking spray 0 points on Weight Watchers Blue
1 tsp chives 0 points on Weight Watchers Blue
1 Tbsp Mixed Cracked Pepper 0 points on Weight Watchers Blue
1 Tsp Italian Seasoning 0 points on Weight Watchers Blue
1 Tsp Coarse Salt 0 points on Weight Watchers Blue
1 Tsp Garlic Powder 0 points on Weight Watchers Blue
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and spray a 13 by 9 inch pan.
2. Add tomatoes and garlic, then place Feta cheese in the center.
3. Season with coarse salt, cracked pepper, Italian seasoning, chives, garlic powder, parsley and basil.
(shopping notes: found the fat-free Feta Chunk at Sprouts, and ordered the pasta from the manufacturer.)
4. Bake about 30 minutes. In the meantime boil 8 oz. of pasta.
5. When done baking stir tomato cheese mixture together. Add Fresh Basil and stir. Add Pasta.
This recipe makes six servings. Each serving is four points on Weight Watchers Blue!
