Did you know that the not so good odors in your house and your relationships can be quite funny? Like say for instance the sweatshirt your husband wears on his runs for seven days in a row and refuses to wash in the laundry and which smells so bad you beg him to put it in a bag and hide it in the basement when he’s not wearing it?
I didn’t either until I went to a hilarious event hosted by Febreze and headlined by actress Kathryn Hahn (“Bad Moms”, “Transparent”) and listened to her, The Upright Citizen’s Brigade and Low Cheek Bones give us their “Odor Odes” about the smelly things in our lives, how we love them “but sometimes they stink” refrain. I was thoroughly amused and entertained. And I also had a chance to meet Chloe the Frenchie!
Check out the video below and TRY NOT TO LAUGH- I DARE YOU!
After the show we gathered in small groups and created our own “Odor Ode” and mine went like this:
I love you dear husband’s sweatshirt,
you keep him toasty and warm on his chilly winter runs.
But after he wears you for seven days in a row,
frankly dear husband’s thick sweatshirt the love soon wears thin.
Dear husband’s sweatshirt I love you, but sometimes you stink.

I thought mine was pretty good and I was able to see all the other Odor Odes and topics but the real message I was able to take was that all the Febreze products work so well and there is a different product for every aspect of our lives that needs to be freshened up.
Febreze’s new OdorClear™ technology seeks out odors and cleans ’em away. OdorClear™ technology is a proprietary formula from Febreze made up of hardworking (you could say, superhero-like) odor-eliminating ingredients called odor trappers, odor converters, odor neutralizers and odor magnets. Like any great superhero team, each odor-eliminating compound has a special skill. But, together, they’re a force of freshness that can’t be stopped. These stink-ending complexes also come from everyday ingredients like cyclodextrin (a starch molecule made from corn) and citric acid (found in lemons and other citrus fruits).
There may be 500 trillion odor molecules in your home that you are not even able to smell. Your home isn’t clean until it’s clean of odors. New Febreze with OdorClearTM Technology cleans away odors in two simple ways: seeks out bad odors and cleans them away by deactivating and replacing them with a light, fresh scent.
The best part is Febreze has a product for every smelly place and odor in your life. New Febreze with OdorClear™ technology is available in Air, Fabric, Car, Plug and smallSpaces offerings. To start the year fresh and introduce the new product line, Febreze is launching multiple TV spots in its new national advertising campaign, called “Odor Odes”—witty tributes to the things we love, even though they stink. Actress Kathryn Hahn (“Bad Moms”, “Transparent”) lends her voice to the campaign.
“I’m very excited to be the voice of Febreze’s new “Odor Odes” campaign,” says Hahn. “I love that we can humorously riff on all of the things we love the most that stink. That is real life, people.”
You can join the cathartic stinky fun by submitting your own #OdorOde by heading to www.OdorOdes.com. The site also includes fun facts about the brand’s toughest, most effective formula to-date,
Febreze, an Official Sponsor of the NFL, will also unveil its first-ever Super Bowl ad on Sunday, February 5th. The spot, part of the larger “Odor Odes” campaign, will air during the second quarter of Super Bowl LI. It provides a humorous look at the much-anticipated and treasured Halftime Bathroom Break (imagine the game without it!). The Halftime Bathroom Break is the phenomenon that occurs as millions of football- and ad-loving fans rush to the bathroom in time between the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
I was amused and impressed by the new Febreze products and I think you will be too!
