I'm not sure if it's Hallmark's doing or it's the expectations we place on ourselves– all I know is that while the holiday season is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year–right about now it feels anything but! Familial relationships are messy and complicated and I've yet to see anyone close to me hop on a steed and ride off into a glorious sunset.. just saying.
