If you want to diminish visible damage to your skin caused by sun 🌞 exposure or reduce pigmentation issues that appear as we age, such as burst capillaries, age spots and rosacea, then the IPL Photo Facial may be the right treatment for you.

What is it?? An FDA-cleared treatment that efficiently reverses the signs of aging and undesirable pigmentation, the IPL Photo Facial can treat areas of uneven skin tone on your face, chest, arms, hands and back. Uneven skin tone and signs of sun damage can be reversed in as little as 1-2 treatments, leaving you with revitalized, even-toned skin. IPL Photo Facials are customized to treat your skin concerns and can be used in combination with other skin-retexturing treatments to achieve maximum results.

Before the treatment begins, Holly Montgomery applies a numbing cream to the treatment areas. A handheld device then produces light energy and is gently applied to the skin where the pulsed light is emitted. Since the light is bright, you are given a pair of metal protective glasses to wear during your treatment. After the treatment, the treated area is cleaned with a warm cloth and a light moisturizer and sunscreen are applied.

What I really love about getting treatments at tribecamedspa by Holly is that she explains EVERYTHING and is constantly checking my comfort level. So what are the next two treatments that I got?
Treatments 2& 3 A Chemical Peel and Dermaplaning

Exfoliating is a necessary step to achieve a glowing complexion, but just what is exfoliation? Exfoliation is the general term for any process of removing the oldest dead skin cells on the skin’s outermost surface.
The use of exfoliation for cosmetic rejuvenation was documented as far back as by the Ancient Egyptians, and this step of Cleopatra’s beauty process has also been scientifically proven as a key to anti-aging.

The root word comes from Latin “to strip off leaves.”
There are two main types of exfoliation: chemical and manual. Chemical exfoliation, also known as Chemical Peels, are specially formulated to work on a cellular level and can be said to work from the inside out. Throughout the peeling process, bright fresh skin cells are revealed as the outmost layer of deal skin cells slough off.

Manual exfoliation as seen above immediately removes the dead skin cells by using an abrasion technique be it a a scalpel (used for Dermaplaning to gently scrape away the outermost layer of dead skin cells).

I had both Dermaplaning (Kids don’t even think about DIYING this one at home) and a lactic acid chemical peel.

Treatment #4 last but certainly not least I had an incredible Botox session with @laura_altman_aesthetics at @tribecamedspa

So what is Botox??? Are you Looking to reduce or eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles?

tribeca medspa specializes in BOTOX®, Xeomin and Dysport treatments that address these concerns and more.
Made from a purified protein, these neurotoxins relax the muscles, effectively smoothing and minimizing frown lines in the forehead area, crow’s feet and neck wrinkles. Botox and other neurotoxins can also provide relief for patients with certain medical conditions, such as chronic migraines.

Also I know she won’t toot her own horn so i will do it for her @laura_altman_aesthetics worked under Dr. Oz for twenty years as a heart surgery PA and she graduated from cornell university ) If there is ANYONE YOU WANT ADMINISTERING a neurotoxin into your face it is @laura_altman_aesthetics at @tribecamedspa !

This sounds like a really great service to try, I bet my mom will love to have it too.
I have spots caused by sun damage on my face. So I’d love to try that. Now if only they could give me a discount. 🙂
So relaxing. I could use some time to pamper myself.
Wow, this looks like an interesting process/procedure. I may consider this in a few years

I haven’t been to a spa for facial treatments. I’ll have to check out there services. Acne has been my main issue the last twenty years. I think I’d be interested in derma abrasion but not 100% sure.
I should express that I like this article so a ton and moreover using it in regular. I believe you would continue sharing better than average articles here.

I really enjoyed reading this article—it reminded me how important it is to take time for ourselves, especially as life gets busy with family and work. Lately, I’ve been exploring more natural self-care options too, and I found some great ideas over at [Earth and Skin](https://www.earthandskin.com.au/).
I love how The Staten Island Family shares those warm, easy lessons from everyday life—like embracing what each child uniquely brings rather than trying to mold them. It reminds me that just as parents nurture their kids’ individuality, it’s important to care for our own well-being too—something I’ve found echoed beautifully in organic, mindful self-care experiences like those at Earth & Skin.
I really enjoyed reading your article on The Staten Island Family — it made me think about how family stories can shape our daily lives in such real ways.
It also makes me wonder how self-care and skincare routines — like the organic, toxin-free approach at **Earth & Skin Day Spa** — become part of our personal and family wellness habits.
Last year, before summer, I booked an IPL Photo Facial and chemical peel at a similar medspa. My skin became smooth and radiant, free of age spots and redness, perfect for revealing dresses and the beach. I felt refreshed and confident. But after the winter and all the coloring, my hair looked dull and damaged, and sunscreens weren’t helping, so I decided to add volume with high-quality extensions. I stumbled across hair sisters , where I chose human hair clip-ins in a warm blonde to match my summer tan. They blended perfectly with my hair, adding length and thickness without damaging it. Now, in my vacation photos, my hair shines in the sun, the compliments are pouring in, and my whole look is harmonious.
