Smelling Great is Super Cool Thanks to Old Spice’s School Of Swagger #SmellcometoManhood

August 17, 2017 by Melissa Chapman 14 Comments

Introducing the NEW Old Spice School of Swagger, an online, video-based puberty curriculum developed by the same brand that has been helping guys navigate the seas of manhood for nearly 80 years.

To help, world-famous Old Spice Guy Isaiah Mustafa is back to say,“Hello, Puberty!”The four-part edutainment video series covers awkward topics guys face as they enter puberty, from that funky new smell to hair growth and oily skin.

And I got to hang out with Mr. Mustafa himself  and go BACK to school ( aka at the Old Spice School of Swagger  led by Jaime Stahl (Old Spice Sweat Scientist) a Chemical Engineer by degree who spends her time as an Old Spice Sweat scientist developing technologies to meet men’s personal care needs and got a sneek peak at SCIENCE behind sweat!

Check out all the fun in my youtube video and get the answers to some of your BURNING questions! And keep reading for all the only back to school products your boy needs in his “smell good” arsenal!

According to ancient boy-law, “If something is cool, moms can’t like it. If moms like something, it can’t be cool.” That is, until the invention of Old Spice’s new eGuide “The Struggle is Real: A Wild Guide to Growing-Up for Moms & Sons”. Designed for moms and sons, old spice is sparking conversations by sharing their hilarious and shocking new national mom/son study findings … while also offering helpful tips from popular parenting expert and mom of 4 boys, Deborah Gilboa, M.D. (aka “Dr. G”).

The truth is- no matter how good something smells- it also jhas to look cool- according to my 12 year old  and inspired by the wild kingdom’s personality traits, the Old Spice Wild Collection gets a BIG THUMBS UP from my discerning 12-year -old.  It is available in anti-perspirants (NEW Invisible Sprays which are HIS FAVORITE!) deodorants, body washes, body sprays and shampoos, in the following scents:
● NEW Krakengärd – Smells like citrus, fresh herbs and the unspeakable power of the ancient ocean
● Bearglove – Commands grizzly-bear-level respect with smells of apple, citrus and spice
● Wolfthorn – The sort of sophisticated wolf who wears a suit that has a suave, sweet orange scent
● Hawkridge – Outwits unsuspecting stink with its sandalwood and vanilla scent

And the truth is my son is CRAZY about the invisible sprays– ( and so is my daughter!) Just because you have to wear deodorant- doesn’t mean everyone needs to know! According to my 12-year-old that’s the coolest part about Wild Bearglove Invisible Spray – the fact that it goes on INVISIBLE  and yet it leaves him smelling great. He calls it his SECRET INVISIBLE BUD! It is perfect for the new school year and who knows he might even consider popping it in his school bag- JUST IN CASE! Like he says- “You Don’t have see it to believe it!” #ItSmellsItself Check it out  http://bit.ly/1OjLRGH

So think your boy would benefit from the Old Spice School of Swagger?

OMG the expressions on your boy’s face!! i have an almost teen grandson and do they all have those precious faces?!! When i first met my husband all he used was old spice. I loved it so much on him when we were dating I’d sometimes put it on myself. O.K. weird, too much info? haha. We’ve bounced around on brands over the past 20+ years but always come back to Old Spice for him. I can’t honestly tell you if it’s cause what he prefers or if it’s what I prefer on him xo

Tweens and teens love this brand! It’s actually quite refreshing to smell too. They need something to wear after sports.

That’s really lovely! I think it’s important that we teach the boys proper hygiene and how to take care of themselves. Old Spice definitely helps us with that!

This is great! My son is not even 1 yet but if he turns out anything like the teenage boy my husband was or my brothers were, I am in for it lol. I think it is really a cool thing Old Spice is doing, and hopefully my son will still think I’m a little cool when he is older haha

My son is starting to get to the age where he needs deodorant. Old Spice seems to be a good place to start for him.

I have two boys and one has just entered middle school. He could definitely use products that will make him feel confident despite being active all day in school!

This is such a great idea. Going through puberty isn’t easy so having a place to turn to might make the transition a little less scary.

My brothers have worn Old Spice for as long as I can remember. It must be a good product if it’s been around so long because they have easily been using it since the early 1990’s.

A big thank you to Old Spice from all the 4th, 5th and middle school teachers. Keeping it real and helping kids understand their bodies helps keep the classroom fresh for all!
