1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of peppermint extract
1/2 tsp of confectioner sugar for dusting

Directions

Preheat oven 350 degrees

Whisk together sugar/applesauce, whisk in water, extracts.
Mix flour and cocoa powder, whisk into wet ingredients. Pour into prepared tin.

Bake 22-26 minutes. I did 26 minutes, toothpick check at 18, 23 & 26 minutes. Don’t overbake.

Remove from tin as soon as it will fall out, let cool completely on rack before dusting with snow (confectioner sugar)
