If you are considering a trip to Six Flags – my advice? Grab your kids and go! The beauty part of the trip- Six Flags Great Adventure has two VERY kid-friendly theme parks, amid the towering and gargantuan roller coasters it boasts- Looney Tunes World and the Wiggles Park- both offer kids- unlimited access to safe, yet slightly (I mean ever so slightly) risky rides, VERY FEW LINES, enough to keep you busy for at least two hours…after which you’ll spend about an hour eating all the foods you promised yourself you weren’t going to eat–but hey- it’s an amusement park and that means you’re obliged to eat foods that amuse you! Me- I am a sucker for funnel cakes- coated in white powdered sugar and drizzled with chocolate syrup- and of course the VERY best part of Six Flags for kids under six-they have Looney Tune Characters and superheroes roaming the park- these poor people have to don these unbelievably hot suits just to make our kids smile– and smile they do– my son will be hugs every costumed character he could put his little arms around.
And if your kid LOVES Pokemon This August, Six Flags and Pokémon Toys (Made by TOMY) are teaming up to offer a unique experience at one of 5 theme parks! (Participating markets include Chicago, NJ, Dallas, Atlanta and LA)
This Sunday on August 10th, Six Flags will host the Pokémon Trainer Challenge, and guests in each participating park will have an opportunity for a chance to win a 4-pack of 2015 Season Passes to Six Flags, plus over $250 worth of Pokémon toys!
In addition, on August 10th, 17th, 23rd and 24th Six Flags guests will also be able to visit the Pokémon branded booth inside each park, providing kids with the opportunity to check out some of the hottest new Pokémon toys. Timing is perfect as the same Pokémon Toys will be arriving at local retailers then as well (Walmart, ToysRUs). Not only can kids try out the products, but they can also take their photo next to a life-size Ashe!
We will be there this Sunday! Follow us on Instagram for all the Pokemon Adventure!
