This Sunday I spent the day cradling this sweet baby boy and while we had kids running all over the place I noticed one really wonderful thing; THERE WAS NO TECHNOLOGY being used at any time during this fun-filled afternoon of play and love.
The kids played with puzzles, they read each other stories, they climbed trees, they played tag, they created elaborate fantastical plot lines for their barbies and action figure heroes. And it was glorious. We were even treated to several impromptu dance recitals and solos.( and lots of playing with dogies too) And with all our creative juices to flow we ( as in the crew of eight, four and two year olds I had the pleasure of hanging with) became entrenched in designing pictures and plastering them all over the walls of my sweet sister’s house.
