So it's true we are Jewish, which means we don't have a tree, we don't have a Santa and as a lover and NOT a competitor I am not that mom who is trying to create a Chanukah-like Christmas for my kids.  Sure singing carols and trimming a tree would be fun- but I really feel like it is important as a parent to model behavior for my kids that I hope they will emulate for their future kids.
