Gentle exfoliation is the quickest way to get a glow. Pine Tar Triple Milled Soap is packed full of powdered walnut shells to help exfoliate your skin while bathing. It is scented with a delicious blend of balsam, sweet citrus and cedar notes (the same as our liquid shampoo and conditioner), and contains time-tested beneficial pine tar and activated charcoal which has been used for centuries to soothe troubled skin. This is one of the LONGEST LASTING pine tar soaps on the market and they created it that way because too many other pine tar soaps fall apart and dissolve easily.
MOISTURIZE and Limit how long and hot your showers are. They feel great this time of the year, but will irritate and dry out your skin if you spend too much time soaking. Apply your body moisturizer while skin is still slightly damp to lock in hydration. My favorite? Amber Vanilla Whipped Body Butter
legends creek farm whipped goat milk body butter is like silk in a jar. Light, pillowy and extremely nourishing our butter instantly absorbs into your skin, creating a moisture barrier to keep your skin feeling luxurious throughout the day.
As the sweet, yet subtle, fragrance of our creamy Vanilla Amber Whipped Body Butter melts onto your skin, you will melt away to a world of calm and relaxation. This decadent whipped creation is lovingly made with shea butter, grapeseed oil, and fresh goat milk. It has everything your skin needs to feel great, and nothing it doesn't.
Body butter is best applied after drying off from the shower while the skin is still a little damp though not necessary. It creates an incredible moisture barrier that will leave your skin feeling soft like a baby's. You must use it to believe it!
Swap out your regualr bar of a soap for a bar of Triple Milled Goat Milk Soap
- Bars work wonderfully when used directly on the skin but lather even better when using a washcloth or loofah!
- Our Fresh Lime Triple Milled Soap is one of the creamiest, most beautifully scented products they have ever made.
- Like their original cold-process soap, triple milled soap never expires and gets denser and creamier with age.
- Contains no harsh chemicals, parabens, sulfates, fillers or irritants.
Goat milk soap is often recommended to people who suffer from sensitive skin problems or even just a sunburn because goat milk soap contains lactic acid, which exfoliates and removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. The alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) in goat milk soap, such as lactic acids, naturally help remove dead skin cells. It works by breaking down the bonds that hold the dead skin cells together, leaving the surface of your skin feeling smoother and looking more vibrant and youthful.
Your skin is the largest organ in your body, and it’s mostly made up of water. Without water, your skin can’t function at its best. If your skin doesn’t get enough water, not only will it become dry, tight, and flaky, but it will also become even more prone to aging.
The truth is that your body loses large quantities of water every day, so if you don’t replace it by drinking more water, your skin will suffer the consequences. It’s easy to see the visible difference that hydration can make!
Stop picking. Put away the magnifying mirror and the pointy tweezers and stop picking at your pimples. Doing so can cause lasting discoloration. Try to avoid over-plucking your eyebrows, too. You'll miss them in a few years when it’s harder for hairs to grow back fully.
Eat for your skin. Cut down on processed carbs. Hold the sugar. Try to steer clear of sugary treats like cookies, mixed cocktails and even (gasp!) your beloved pumpkin spice lattes. Sugar byproducts will degrade collagen and elastin, and contribute to break-outs. They make you bloated and can cause breakouts. Their excess sugars can also cause premature aging with their inflammatory by-products. Instead, reach for antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables.
Apply SPF every day. No matter if it's cloudy or rainy, there is ultraviolet radiation that thins out our collagen. Sunscreen is the number one anti-ager. Find a formulation that you love for daily use.
Cut back on smoking cigarettes. Smoking is not only terrible for your body, but wreaks havoc on your skin, causing wrinkles and discoloration from the restricted blood flow and free radicals. Habits are difficult to break, and nicotine is addictive; therefore, try cutting back on at least a few cigarettes a week, and eventually you might stop smoking altogether.
Start taking probiotics. Your skin reflects the health of your gut. Probiotics are the good bacteria that colonize your gut and help with digestion, your immune system, and your mood, including the production of Serotonin – the happy hormone.
