Two-Ingredient Dough Apple Turnover

If you haven’t made the 2-ingredient dough Apple turnover, you are missing out. Subbed out for brown sugar swerve and topped with some sugar free caramel topping 😘

The filling features thinly sliced apples that are flavored with cinnamon, monkfruit sweetener, and a touch of salt. Feel free to use peaches or pears instead of the apples if you want to experiment. Simply enclose the filling in the two-ingredient dough, brush with egg wash, and air fry the turnovers (or you can use a convention oven) until they’re nice and crispy and beautifully golden brown. It really doesn’t get much easier than that.

Thanks to Kelly

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup white self-rising flour
  • ¼ cup plain fat free Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium apple (pick something sweet), peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp monk fruit sweetener with erythritol
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of table salt
  • 1 medium egg, whisked
