We are digging the dresses from Tea Collection and we’re giving away a $50 shopping spree!

December 19, 2011 by Melissa Chapman 7 Comments

Congrats to our winner TAMMY!
Bonding with your tween is definitely not for the faint of heart. Most tweens, in the process of flexing their independence, are sporting surly attitudes and a desire to be as far away from you (their parent) as possible.

My little girl in her Tea Collection

When it comes to my 10 year old daughter I just really want to be involved in her life. Sure, I discipline her, but she also knows she can tell me anything and that ultimately I am on her side. We have talks every night, which I started pretty much as soon as I pushed her from my womb. We go shopping and at least once a week we go out to eat. She is an integral part of who I am and my happiest times are when I’m with her and her little brother.

My lil girl in her other www.teacollection.com dress!

Which is why when the good Folks at Tea Collection, the only children’s and women’s apparel company that travels to a different destination for the inspiration behind our collections. Their Children’s Clothesare available in more than 400 stores including Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Takashimaya, and fine boutiques throughout the US and abroad.
They’ve got such a rich and colorful collection of Boys Clothes Girls ClothesBaby Boy Clothes and Baby Girl Clothes.
My tween feel in love with their dresses and even did a little Tea Collection haul (disclaimer- my lil girl THOUGHT each dress was $60 but in fact each one is $35!!) which you can check out right here:
“ class="external" rel="nofollow">

Bottom line for me– the ability to buy her a dress that makes her look cute and is age appropriate, colorful, great quality and ONLY $35… well let’s just say we’ll be doing a lot more shopping at Tea Collection. And because I love to share my favorite finds with you- I’m giving away a $50 gift certificate to Teacollection.com
For a chance to win this gift certificate for you and your favorite kid- leave a comment here with who you’ll be shopping for and why? For a second entry you can like The Staten Island Family on Facebook and for a third entry you can follow Madijack and retweet this giveaway Good Luck! Giveaway ends Tuesday December 27th at midnight EST!

I’ll be shopping for Parker, an outrageously cute medically fragile kid with special needs. You can read about him on his blog.

I’d buy dresses for my daughter, of course. So, so, so cute and I’m psyched for the new Bali collection.
