Wear a Mask but Make it Fashion

I am so thrilled to be partnering with #FashionFlash to encourage women to wear their mask by turning them into a fashion accessory and share the exciting news that the publication of  The Good Doctor's Guide to Colds and Flu by Neil Schachter M.D. has a new 900 word chapter on preventing, treating and recovering from Covid-19.

He will be donating percent of earnings to patient advocacy organizations like the American Lung Association ❤️ The book  is now available on preorder on Amazon, as an e-book in February and as a paperback in September.

The truth is a mask can actually be a fashion accessory if you play your cards right! And while we might miss wearing our favorite lip color a great mask is the next best thing!

I love wearing the color Black so incorporating masks with animal prints or plaid actually adds a pop of color to the outfit. So my tip for how to #StyleYourMask would be stay away from prints and opt for solid colors so that your mask can be your colorful and fun accessory!

And my second tip is to accentuate the facial features that aren't covered by your face mask! In this case your eyebrows and eye lashes! Don't be afraid to layer on the mascara and yes even add some shadow and eyeliner! Be bold and try a winged tip liner on your lid and of course make sure your brows are framing your face!

I always wear a mask if I have to leave my house. All i have are plain black ones, so they pretty much go with anything I am wearing, but it would be fun to get a few different ones to style!

I definitely wear a mask and usually draw silly pictures on it!

I wear a mask only when required. I don’t style it – it’s a basic mask, but I’d like to have a more attractive one.

I always wear a mask if I leave the house (which is very rarely these days). I try to match it with my outfit.

I wear a mask whenever I leave the house. I have some really cute fabric ones with different styles. I love to wear my Harry Potter masks. I always wear mascara so it helps my eyes pop a little more.

My friend gave me a watermelon mask I love. I usually layer my mask, have a festive one on top and a surgical mask on the bottom.

I use a cloth mask at the top of a regular filtered mask. I use clips and I make sure that I don’t use the elastic one ,due to the fact it rubs against the back of my ear and causes it to bleed and to avoid this, I use the clip to secure to my face and match with different variety of clothing and shoes to compliment the mask.
