Being that we have just begun a brand new year (sure it’s a Jewish New Year- but as far as I’m concerned any reason to pop open a bottle of wine and eat Weight Watchers Peachy Keen cake should be cause for celebration for all of mankind’s creatures)I thought it would be appropriate to jot off a list of things I’m grateful for which includes this recipe for Chocolate Weight Watchers Cake Recipe.
My list of thanks
1) Dogs (for the most part!)who are potty trained. Really this I count as one of my greatest achievements as a furbaby mother. No, my dogs don’t actually sit on a toilet- but you get the gist!- well it’s just plain liberating to know I can leave them and won’t come home to a MESS!
2) Coffee. Really need I say more?! It is the sweet nectar of the gods and the spring in my step- the reason I manage to drag myself out of bed every morning at the crack of 6 am, to make lunches for my kids- and smile sweetly at them, when they scowl at me with their usual “I don’t want to go to school” morning faces.
4) SpongeBob Square Pants. Finally, a cartoon that I can sit through more than five minutes of, without quietly trying to slip out of the room without my kids realizing. SpongeBob’s earnest goodness truly makes me want to be a better person and rid myself of my cynicism. It might just be the best sitcom on television.
3) Weight Watchers. Finally, a Lifestyle food plan that allows me to EAT CAKE?!! It is akin to that peppermint patty feeling of being taken away to a small cafe in Brussels, as I eat my piece of Chocolate Weight Watchers Cake! I have called this my OMG Cake (well at least in my head) because it has ZERO GUILT.
Keep reading for my recipe for Weight Watchers Chocolate OMG Cake because one bite will have you saying “OMG ! I can’t believe this is JUST FOUR smart points per serving”

Happy Rosh Hashana!
This looks like a tasty recipe, and I like that it is only 4 points. I did Weight Watchers several years ago. It is a great program.
Oh my gosh is this looks so good! I love how easy it is. I have such a huge sweet tooth but I’m also try to stay on some kind of a diet. This is perfect.
I do love the name of this and that it’s weight watchers approved! I totally have to make this.
I follow weight watchers and have tried just about all types of cake mixes made this way and they are wonderful.
Hint-Instant pudding will not thicken using Almond milk or Soy milk. I use water or skim milk when making my pudding mix.
My favorites are chocolate with Diet Coke, lemon or strawberry using diet sprite.
good hint on pudding i’ll use instant pudding cause i have skim milk
directions say use instant pudding picture of ingredients shows cook n serve
I love easy cakes like this and knowing that one serving has only 4 WW points makes me want to make a grocery store run right this instance. It looks so good. SpongeBob on the other hand – can’t do it. 🙂
How is it 4 points and do,you track,it?
OMG is the perfect name for the great looking cake. Only 4 points well hello there where have you been all my life.
Yes please. This looks like such a great cake. And I love that I don’t have to feel guilty while eating it.
I love cake so much! I think I would be eating that frosting with a spoon, though. Looks and sounds amazing.
I can not stand Sponge Bob, but this cake looks pretty good. Only 4 points! I will have to try this on the family.
I love that this cake is only four points. It looks like a dessert my entire family would love. Can’t wait to give it a try.
This cake looks AMAZING! Only four WW points! I can easily make it gluten free too! Yum!
I’m a sucker for chocolate cake, and this one looks absolutely divine. I’m not on weight watchers, but I’m certainly down with a cake that is healthier than the original.
I’m all about chocolate cake. And this one is Weight Watchers? Yes please!
This is an awesome recipe! My family would love some of these cake!
This looks and sounds delicious, I’m a huge fan of weight watchers and just need to stick to it!
I have never tried Weight Watchers before, but I know so many people who swear by it. This cake looks so, so delicious!
Oh wow, I love you can have your cake and eat it too. Such a great recipe for us trying to lose weight!
Weight Watchers has chocolate cake?! I’ve never used WW before but this is enough to make me wanna give it a try!
For me this is a recipie for disaster. The cake mix is 10 servings and for ww it is ultimately 24 servings. I wouldn’t have 23 other people eating it and it would be less than half a normal serving of cake. It would be a four point teaser that would turn into a 12 point disaster. I applaude those with the self discipline to bake and keep this cake in the refrigerator.
This looking delicious, I’m guessing 8×13 pan is a typo?
oops typo, should be looks..lol
OMG, can’t hardly wait to try this cake. But, I’m confused about the ingredients, in the pictures it shows a box of “Cook & Serve” pudding mix, not instant. So which is it? Thanks.
Hi
This looks yummy. Can you tell me what Cool Whip is though please? We don’t get it in Western Australia. Is it thick cream?
Cool Whip is Kraft’s imitation of whipped cream sold frozen in a tub. It is most commonly used as a topping for desserts in quick and easy recipes. Whilst, it is not sold in Australia it is the most popular brand of whipped topping in America and Canada which is why you might come across it in your recipe searches.Jul 30, 2019
Would this work with sugar free cake mix?
Is it just me, or do you have way too many advertisements & pictures throughout this recipe. I finally gave up trying to piece the recipe & directions together. Sorry for the criticism. I know how much work these sites are to put together. I hope you take this as friendly feedback.
This recipe calls for sugar free fat free vanilla instant pudding 3oz. Do we need 3 boxes? These are only sold as 1oz and your picture only shows one box.
Do you let the cooked cake cool completely before you put the cool whip mixture on?
So there are some issues
Is it 10- or 24 servings?
3 oz of pudding is 2-3 boxes?
Does the pudding really set with almond milk?
I love this but I think I will make them as cupcakes, only because I would be really tempted to eat more of the cake than its cut into.
My girlfriend is on Weight Watchers and I prepared this cake for her from this recipe and she loved it, I did it as a surprise, I’m also making this cake again this weekend for her birthday. She told her mom about it so I need to do a good job to impress the mom.
Would there be less points if you used a sugar free cake mix?
I made this tonight!. It is so good. At 24 servings it’s just right but the old fat me would want to eat half the cake. Instead I gave half to my parents. I’m a chocolate cake lover and I’m finding out I don’t have to give up things I love on WW. Everything in moderation!
One question though I put this exact recipe in the WW recipe builder and it gave me 2 points per serving for 24 serving instead of 4.? Any ideas why?
I want to make this so I’m eager to hear the answers to the questions above. Instant or cook and serve? Can it be made with sugar free cake mix? Will the pudding set with almond milk! Is it indeed 4 points or 2? Please let me know. ❤️ Amiedanny@msn.com
can you use skim milk in place of the almond milk i don’t like almonds?
