Weight Watchers Apple Pie

A non-traditional crust removes the points from this classic American pie while keeping great flavor!


  • 7 cups apples peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup Splenda Granulated Sweetener
  • 3 tblsp cornstarch
  • 10 sheets Phyllo Dough
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Nonstick Cooking Spray
  • 1/2 cup water divided


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F

  2. Spray your pie pan with non-stick cooking spray

  3. In a large stockpot, combine your apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, 1/4 cup water, and Splenda sweetener. Mix to coat apples well.

  4. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until apples begin to become tender.

  5. While apples are cooking down, in a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and 1/4 cup water until they become a slightly thin paste.

  6. Mix cornstarch into apples and coat well. Remove the apple mixture from heat and set aside.

  7. Layer 5 of your Phyllo sheets into a 9" pie plate spraying with non-stick spray between layers.

  8. Pour apples over the layered Phyllo dough sheets, and the top with additional 5 layers following method of layering and spraying between layers as before.

  9. Spray the top of the pie with non-stick cooking spray before placing in oven at 400°F for 25-30 minutes.
