Sticky Apple Maple Bread

Perfect with a cup of coffee or protein shake!!!Like a sweet fluffy pancake you can eat with your hands! 2 Weight Watchers points for 1 slice. Serves 12

Ingredients

  • Dough:
  • 1 ¼ cup of High Protein Pancake Mix
  • 1 cup of All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp of bread machine yeast
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • 1 tbsp of Sweetener
  • ½ cup of warm water
  • ½ cup of shredded apple I used Envy left the skin on
  • Topping:
  • 2 tbsp of melted butter spread; I use I Can’t believe It’s not Butter
  • 2 tbsp of Sugar Free Maple Syrup
  • ¼ cup of unpack Brown Sugar Replacement Monkfruit for me
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer using a dough hook, add all dough ingredients and mix until dough ball forms, then continue to knead(mix) on low for about 5 minutes. Transfer dough to a greased glass bowl, lightly cover and let rise for an hour in a warm area. Turn dough out onto a flat surface and stretch to fit chosen baking dish. I used an 7”x11”.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  3. Add melted butter, syrup, sugar to your baking dish, stir to combine, sprinkle with 1 tsp of cinnamon. Lay your stretched dough over top let it sit while the oven is heating up.
  4. Bake 25 minutes.
  5. Let cool 5 minutes, turn out onto chosen serving plate or slice while in baking dish.
