Creamy Tomato spinach pasta

Creamy Tomato spinach pasta

This is such a yummy recipe and only six points per one cup serving ! Makes 8 servings! And healthy too!

Creamy Tomato spinach pasta

Ingredients
Olive oil
3 Tbsp
Canned diced tomatoes 14 1/2 OZ
Canned tomato paste 
2 Tbsp
Plain fat free Greek yogurt
4 Tbsp
Fresh spinach
2 cup(s)
Grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup(s)
Banza Shells pasta made from chickpeas
16 oz

INSTRUCTIONS
1 Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil. While the water is heating, dice the onion, and grate or chop the garlic. Add the pasta when the water is boiling. Cook 4-6 min or until al dente. Drain. Do not overcook.
2 Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat, add the onion and garlic, cook for 5 minutes or until translucent.
3 Add the can of tomatoes. Add the spinach. Add the oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Add the tomato paste and the Greek yogurt. Stir until both are dissolved into the sauce. Add the Parmesan cheese.
4 Lower the heat to a simmer. Add the pasta and stir together.
Stir occasionally for 1 minute. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper as needed and enjoy.
