Why have I never had garlic lemon broccoli before this?!

Broccoli is one of the few vegetables I will eat cooked, but I thought I needed it smothered in cheese or teriyaki sauce.

The internet kept suggesting lemon and garlic, two things I love, so I tried it, and y’all, this was so delicious! I could eat so much of this, and it’s so quick to make and you only need a cooking spray to sauté the garlic.

Ingredients 

Broccoli, florets, fresh 1 pound(s), florets, fresh
Cooking spray
garlic
2 cloves
Half a lemon Lemon zest
Table salt
¼ tsp

instructions

I steamed the broccoli for about 10 minutes (when it’s easy to stab with a fork and still bright green, it’s ready).

Bring 1 inch of water to a boil in a large pot. Place broccoli in a steamer basket and set over water. Cover pot and steam until broccoli is crisp-tender, about 5 to 6 minutes; drain. Alternatively, you can cook broccoli in microwave.

Then sautéed two cloves of garlic with zest from half a lemon and tossed the broccoli in the pan to coat. I used COOKING SPRAY but
