Interesting article. Anyone with a baby should read this. total incremental war
The zero-point trick of loading up on cabbage keeps it genuinely filling. I’ve been making a version with extra smoked paprika and it adds a lot of depth without any extra points.
This zero-point cabbage soup is such a smart approach to comfort food without the guilt! I appreciate how the recipe keeps things simple but lets you customize with variations like smoked paprika or extra vegetables. The fact that it’s filling despite being zero points makes it perfect for anyone watching their intake. Your tip about sautéing the aromatics first really does make a difference in the flavor depth.
Adding a parmesan rind while it simmers gives so much depth without any extra points. Makes the broth taste like it cooked all day.
This cabbage soup idea fits well with the kind of simple, low-calorie meals that WW (WeightWatchers) is known for. The appeal here is clearly about volume eating—something that fills you up without adding many calories. A “zero point” approach also makes it easier for people to stay consistent without constantly tracking or feeling restricted.
