Fruity pebbles overnight protein Oats

It tastes delicious And you can flavor it anyway you want by just using different protein powders. thanks to Janis

I personally use the fruity Pebbles dymatize protein powder which is 1 point per scoop with 25 grams of protein. The oats contain one tablespoon of chia seeds and one tablespoon of milled flaxseed. both which have three grams of protein each and one point each.

Another addition is  half a cup of old fashioned rolled oats which believe it or not has just over five grams of protein itself.  I use one cup of milk of choice I bounce between unsweetened vanilla almond milk which is one point.  or the vanilla carbmaster Kroger milk which is one point as well but also has 10 g of protein.

here is the proper recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds
  • 1 TBSP milled flaxseed
  • 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice

These oats depending on the protein powder you use and milk you use has anywhere from 36 to 46 g of protein and 12 g of fiber.

Check out my Weight Watchers shopping list here.

Instructions

simply mix all the ingredients together in a 16 oz container and put it in the fridge overnight.

in the morning you have breakfast if you prefer your oatmeal warm microwave this mixture in the morning.

The protein powder is what flavors the oatmeal.

I have found if you use a chocolate protein powder and then add two tablespoons of peanut butter powder the oatmeal tastes like a Reese’s Cup
