No Noodle Cheesy Lasagna

I saw someone post in an Aldi fb group about using Egglife wraps as lasagna noodles, and I was intrigued. So tonight I gave it a WW shot and this was stupidly delicious and only 2 pts a serving (4 servings total) 🤤🤤 thanks to Cathleen

Ingredients

  • 5 Egglife Original egg white wraps
  • 2 cups Simply Nature Organic marinara pasta sauce
  • 1 cup(s)Kroger Fat-Free Cottage Cheese (Small Curd)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup(s) fat free skim mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. I blended the fat free cottage cheese to make it a little smoother and then mixed in an egg and seasoned with Italian seasoning and garlic salt
  2. Put a Little sauce on the bottom, then wrap, sauce, cottage cheese sauce, mozzarella, and repeat!
  3. I ended up only using 5 of the 6 wraps that came in the package

I baked at 400 for 30 minutes covered (I tented the foil so it wouldn’t touch the cheese), and then another 10 minutes uncovered

Notes the blended cottage cheese is not runny. U can also use it for alfredos and such. Cheese dips. Etc.

I added an egg to thicken it a bit, and I was severely impatient after pulling it out of the oven and cut right into it so it was slightly runny 🤣 but after it sat for just a bit and I went back to cut the rest up to put away, it was all firmed up and not runny whatsoever. !

Taste wise, it is slightly softer than regular noodles. They definitely hold up well, but still softer.

there’s a slight eggy taste if you’re eating the wraps just plain, but there’s absolutely no eggy taste when used in this dish. The consistency is soft but still firm. They hold up perfectly 😊
