Sure you can get all pumped up about Earth Day when it’s the cause du jour…but once the pomp and circumstance fades away- it truly is up to each and every individual to keep on their personal mission to do everything in their power to reduce their carbon footprint. And no I am not a crunchy granola, TEVA wearing, only organic eating, completely BPA free vegan.

Rather I consider myself a middle-of-the road greenie– and every day I’m trying to get closer to my goal of consuming less and being more mindful of my waste. And reminding myself that life’s precious moments- the things I’ll value most are those intangible moments; my conversations, my relationships and ultimately not my stuff. And in that respect letting go of the stuff has been easier- and each time I adopt a greener way of life- and rid myself of excess stuff- I  truly feel lighter on both a physical and emotional level.

So what am I doing everyday to make it an Earth day?   Each day I try to consume less eneregy; I make fewer loads of laundry and  use the natural sunlight as opposed to my lightbulbs. I NEVER use plastic plates, cutlery and cups and I as I bite into yet another piece of eggplant I  remind myself that eating less meat is oh so much better for the planet.

    I just tried Seventh Generation Diaper Cream, Baby Bubble Bath and the Shampoo/Wash combo – love the idea of supporting this company while caring for my boys with effective but gentle products. Since I am “that” Mom, the one chasing and holding her kids down to apply sunscreen no matter where we are, I will say the baby item I must have is sunscreen. Can’t bear the thought of that beautiful baby skin getting burned! Excited to have a chance to win these excellent products – thank you!!

    I LOVE their shower spray. I have about 4 extra bottles on hand just in case they stop manufacturing it! I do want to try their sunscreen so would LOVE to win this!

    I’m a little past my baby days, but a few friends of mine are new moms or about to be moms. I would have to say that diaper rash cream was one item I couldn’t live without. I used it for every skin related issue my daughter had.

    I cannot live without baby lotion! My daughter has beautiful skin and I like to keep it soft with baby lotion. I also love to use it as well sometimes! Would love to try Seventh Generation!

    hmmmm…I can’t live without lots of things, but definitely lotion 🙂 (now I do have to have my backpack diaper bag…couldn’t go shopping without it!)

    We have used Seventh Generation Baby Wipes from the start. They are non-toxic and gentle on baby. They never cause baby rash and we couldn’t do without them!
