Easy to Make Bagel Balls -2 points each on Weight Watchers 

Once again  Kelly Akin who you MUST FOLLOW on Instagram  and on her facebook page In the Kitchen With Kelly for all her yummy low point Weight Watchers recipes has done it again!

I LOVE how she took this Original recipe from SkinnyTaste and gave it a Weight Watchers Spin!

Easy to Make Bagel Balls -2 points each on Weight Watchers blue

What I love about this recipe is that I can finally eat a bagel without any guilt! And if you have an air fryer these Easy to Make Bagel Balls can be air fried to perfection!

Easy to Make Bagel Balls -2 points each on Weight Watchers blue

This Easy to Make Bagel Balls recipe makes 8 servings. Each Bagel Ball is two points on Weight Watchers Blue

 
Ingredients
1 cup(s) All-purpose flour
13 smart points on blue
2 tsp Baking powder 0 smart points on blue
3⁄4tsp Kosher salt 0 smart points on blue
1 cup(s) Fage Total 0% Nonfat Greek strained yogurt plain 0 smart points on blue
4oz, Cut into 8 cubes Fat-free cream cheese
3 smart points on blue
1 Egg(s) 0 smart points on blue

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Place parchment paper or a silpat on a baking sheet. If using parchment paper, spray with oil to avoid sticking.
  2. In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking powder and salt and whisk well.
  3. Add the yogurt and mix with a fork or spatula until well combined, it will look like small crumbles.
  4. Lightly dust flour on a work surface and remove dough from the bowl, knead the dough a few times until dough is tacky, but not sticky, about 15 turns (it should not leave dough on your hand when you pull away).
  5. Divide dough into 8 equal balls. Flatten each ball into circles, then place 1/2 tablespoon cream cheese on each. Cover the dough well and roll into a ball. Repeat with the remaining dough.
  6. Top with egg wash and sprinkle with seasoning of your choice if desired.
  7. Bake on the top rack of the oven for 25 minutes. Let cool at least 10 minutes before eating.
Air Fryer Method:
  1. Spray the basket to avoid sticking.
  2. Preheat the air fryer 325F. Transfer in batches without overcrowding and bake 11 to 12 minutes, or until golden.
  3. No need to turn. Let cool at least 10 minutes before eating.
